OML 70 / PPL 236
Ibom marginal field
The group holds 100 percent equity in the Ibom marginal field, secured as OML 70 / PPL 236 in the 2020 DPR bid round. About 30 km offshore in the southern Niger Delta, in water depths of around 20 metres. Ten oil- and gas-bearing reservoirs in the Agbada formation. Reserves stand at 11.4 million barrels of oil and 92 billion standard cubic feet of gas.
Ibom-3X has been drilled. Phase two includes a permanent production facility, a short oil pipeline to the nearby Usari field (about 7 km), and two or three additional wells.
A flare-gas commercialisation licence on selected Mobil Producing fields sits beside that asset. Crude and NGL offtake under joint-venture arrangements with NNPC, DSDP contracts, and confirmed deliveries to IOCs including ExxonMobil and SNEPCO complete the commercial picture. The group has also designed a backload crude-evacuation solution for NNPC / HHOG.
